Personality

Alun Calar is very passionate about her tribe. She is very protective of those she cares for, and those she considers to be family. She wants to see every single one succeed, and see the future of Calar bright and grand like it once was.

Despite that, Alun has a lot of problems as a person. Her backstory is riddled with trouble, and because of that Alun suffers anxiety and depression. She is often very hard on herself for things out of her control; From her fear of being used, to knowing her asexuality might seem like a turn away for potential suitors.

Shes fiery, Aggressive at times, seems grumpy, and nearly emotionless; But somewhere deep down there is a girl who just wants to be loved.

Roleplaying Hooks
Alun is a xaela. She also looks to be a raen though, because of her grayed scales from her condition. Many xaela find that interesting or curious.She is a shaman, and spirit caller. With enough of a connection she is able to perform seances in order to speak with those who have passed to the lifestream. Perhaps she can help give closure to a survived loved one?Fight! She is more than happy to prove how mighty Calar can be.She is asexual, so sexual situations are very rare and far between, but she is not aromantic. She craves to have someone close who cares about her, so xaela men who share that ideal or want to try to get close are welcome to try! She has a hard shell, but shes sweet on the inside.
What I will Roleplay
Story lines: Lets plot! I love making stories and creating elongated relationships.

Romance / Sexual themes: As a warning, Alun is very cold at heart. She is asexual, and will not sleep with someone for the fun of it. Despite this, lately she has been wanting to find a mate perhaps to further the tribes numbers, and being one of the few pureblood Calar, makes her the perfect candidate to sire children for the tribe. Courting and getting close enough to her for that, however, will be no easy feat. Shes very romantic at heart, so someone who is kind to her, understanding, and is genuinely interested in her might get somewhere.

Conflict: Yes, I love conflict!

*FRIENDS: God yes be her friend please. She needs more.

What i'm neutral on

Torture/Maining. Though I am okay with it, it is unlikely someone will find this effective. She is insane, and likely will surprise you on how far she will go to achieve her mission and goals. She will almost certainly die before giving up Calar in any way.

ERP - Like I said before, I do not mind writing smut. But Alun is a special case and no smut would be written through her without it being a mate situation, and becoming her mate will be no easy feat.

I am looking for feedback! I've worked hard on Alun as a character for years, and really want to know what people think about her. She's gone through somewhat of a rework recently, and i'm trying to get her more involved in things.

The Calar

The Calar were once a mighty tribe of warmonger xaela. They cherished strength of will above all, and often adopted other tribes or races into their ranks to further bolster a strong force against any obstacle they might face. They are accepting of new ways of living, and are extremely open minded to much that happens in the world now a days. Like Other tribes, they too had quirks. Calar warriors and hunters were taught a special art of blind fighting, that allowed them to sense more easily without relying on your eyes. Calar warriors and hunters were offered the chance to partake in a right of passage, that would end in them being truly blind; Offering rank and status to those who took part in this ritual.

Calar was wiped out by a large force of strange men, one day randomly without warning. The tribe was great, but did not have the strength to take on the number and power of these strangers odd machines. Offering near none of the tribe mercy, except for game - They captured the ones who weren't outright slaughtered, the strongest of the tribe, and put them in Games against monsters and men alike, for entertainment and money.

Only Alun and Shinji were able to survive this slaughter in the end, Alun escaping before the Garleans had a chance to catch her, and her brother able to fight and win in their games, eventually earning his freedom.

The Calar slowly rebuild; Currently at about seven total. (That have been introduced officially.)

Pheli Calar - Sister
Pheli is a passionate, caring seeker who was the mate of Aluns late Brother Shinji. Because of that relation, Alun has a great deal of care for the seeker, and is happy she still wishes to help build the Calar even after her brothers 'death'.

Akhutai Khatayin - Crush
They met at a time when Alun was struggling still with her emotions and self worth. Through his kindness she was able to find out more about herself, and her wants for more gentle interactions. Now she considers them close, and hopes their relationship continues to grow.

Sarantsatsral Kagon - Best Friend
Saran and Alun met at the start of Aluns transition into a more gentle self. At first they didn't get along, but slowly they've grown closer and Alun considers her a close friend - Even letting the Kagon sleep in her room when the sun is up.

Gylda Rose - A Close Friend
Rose used to be 'close' to Aluns brother, in a time when Alun was less willed. A time in which she couldn't interfere in the inevitable seperation of the xaela from Calar. Now that she is at the head of the Tribe, Alun wants to build a friendship with Rose. She'll always have a place in her family, in the Khatuns eyes, but Alun understands the distance she puts between them.

W'lefay Sheqa - Priestess
Though their encounters were brief, Alun knows the priestess through her sister. The Khatun is aware of the seekers interest in bringing tribals together, and hopes that this effort can be beneficial to the regrowth of Calar. Alun has plans to talk to the Priestess about this at some point.

Tyalo Moro - Ex Mentor
There was a time in where the circumstances of Aluns hardships reared its ugly head. In that time, Tyalo stepped forward and offered the Albino a way to channel it. Alun accepted, and the serpent Lord of Nagxia taught her the ways of his art. Though she has left his employ, he is now ever curious in what exactly empowers the Calar bloodline the way it does.

Enx Dotharl - Rival
Though they haven't spoken in some time, Enx has always challenged Alun and the Calar. Alun holds a bit of respect for the xaela due to their clashing of heads, but keeps her ever at arms length in expectation of more sharp tongue.

Vitharr and Verun Calar - Family
Twins, sired by her Brother Shinji, they were lost as infants and raised by another. Despite that, and the strange manner of which they grew up, she accepts them openly as a part of her Tribe, and hopes to help them grow, and learn the ways of this land. Alun recently has Verun to thank for becoming close to someone she otherwise wouldn't have known how to.
